Terms of Service

1. Service Overview

Encelyte Translator is a document translation service operated by Encelyte Ltd. The service uses AI-powered OCR and translation technology to translate documents, images, and text across 55+ languages.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts & Registration

• You must provide accurate information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

3. Credits & Billing

• Free Trial: 2 credits upon registration
• Professional plan: 20 translations per month at €29/month
• Business plan: 50 translations per month at €49/month
• Enterprise: Custom pricing with dedicated support

Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Subscription billing is handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes or to translate illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the translation or OCR models
• Abuse rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
• Upload malicious files (malware, viruses) disguised as documents
• Use automated scripts to bulk-access the service without authorization

5. Translation Accuracy

Encelyte Translator uses state-of-the-art AI models to provide accurate translations. However:

• AI translations are not a substitute for certified human translation where legally required
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy, especially for highly technical, legal, or medical content
• For critical documents, we recommend reviewing translations with a qualified professional
• OCR accuracy depends on document quality — clear, high-resolution scans produce better results

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all documents you upload and translations you receive. Encelyte claims no rights over your content.

The Encelyte Translator software, AI models, UI, and branding are the intellectual property of Encelyte Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure issues.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Encelyte Ltd is not liable for:

• Losses arising from translation inaccuracies
• Business decisions made based on translated content
• Data loss during transmission (though we use TLS encryption)

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms with or without notice. Upon termination, all associated data is permanently deleted.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Limassol, Cyprus.
