Your documents are processed on our secure EU-based servers and are never shared with third parties. We do not use your data to train any AI models.

1. Who We Are

Encelyte Ltd ("Encelyte," "we," "us") operates the Encelyte Translator service. We are a technology company registered and operating within the European Union, with infrastructure hosted on EU-based servers.

2. What Data We Collect

When you use Encelyte Translator, we collect:

  • Account information: Email address, name, and company name (provided during registration)
  • Usage data: Translation count, credit usage, and feature interactions (for service improvement)
  • Uploaded documents: Files you submit for translation (processed and then deleted — see Section 4)

We do not collect:

  • Payment card details (handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor)
  • Location data or device identifiers
  • Data from cookies for advertising purposes

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve the translation service
  • To manage your account and credit balance
  • To communicate service updates and support
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We never use your uploaded documents or translations to train AI models, and we never share your content with third parties.

4. Document Processing & Retention

Zero-retention policy: Uploaded documents are processed in-memory on our servers. Once translation is complete and delivered to you, the source document and translated output are permanently deleted from our systems within 1 hour.

No copies are stored, cached, or archived. This applies to all file types: PDFs, images, Word documents, and text input.

5. Data Security

  • All data transmitted to and from our servers uses TLS 1.3 encryption
  • Documents are processed in isolated, ephemeral environments
  • Our infrastructure is hosted in EU data centers (GDPR-compliant)
  • Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel with multi-factor authentication

6. GDPR Compliance

As an EU-operating company, we fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — Correct any inaccurate personal data
  • Erasure — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Portability — Receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — Object to processing of your data for specific purposes

7. Third-Party Services

Encelyte Translator uses self-hosted, open-source AI models for OCR and translation. Your documents are never sent to external translation APIs or cloud AI services. All processing happens on Encelyte-controlled infrastructure.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
